Your food plans stay on your device.

FamilyMenu is currently a browser-based prototype. Meal plans, recipes, shopping adjustments, pantry items, freezer items and ratings are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to a FamilyMenu account or database.

Backups

If you export a backup, your browser downloads a JSON file containing your FamilyMenu data. You choose where that file is stored and whether to import it again later.

Clearing data

You can delete saved prototype data from the Help section. Clearing this site's storage through your browser will also remove it from that browser and device.

Website delivery

The hosting server may keep short-lived technical access and security logs, such as an IP address, requested page, browser type and request time. These logs are used to operate and protect the website.

Cookies and analytics

This version does not use advertising cookies, account cookies or analytics trackers.
